Central Concept and Technologies Used:
Gender Resolution is the result of destroying two oil paintings. By tearing the canvases and then weaving them together to form a single image, the generative act of recycling combines male and female energy. High-media is thereby transformed to reference contemporary digital culture while questioning our relationship with the ancient fiber arts and lust for tactility.
